EDITORIAL & FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
Capturing light, feelings & moments and all the things in between people and life.
Im Sarah, a Michigan wedding photographer with over 10 years of experience capturing the moments that matter most without turning your day into a photoshoot.
My approach is calm, candid, and people-focused so you can stay present with the people you love while I document it all naturally.
I'm not the photographer who's going to overly pose every second or pull you away from your wedding for hours.
The moments you'll care about most years from now are usually the ones you never planned for:
your dad tearing up during the ceremony,
your friends screaming with joy on the dance floor,
your grandma fixing your veil,
the way your partner looks at you when nobody else notices.
That's the stuff I pay attention to.
Of course I'll guide you when needed. I will help with timelines, family photos, and natural posing. But I also know when to quietly step back and let moments happen.
The goal is simple:
beautiful photos and a wedding day you actually get to enjoy.
THE Experience:
I. Getting to know you matters.
Before I ever pick up my camera, I want to know who you are together.
The way you interact, what makes you laugh, the people who matter most to you, the energy you want your wedding day to have. All of it helps me photograph your day in a way that actually feels personal and true to you.
No two couples are same, and your photos shouldn't feel like they could belong to anyone else.
II. Your wedding day should feel like your wedding day.
I'll guide you when needed, help things flow smoothly, and keep family photos organized. But I also know when to quietly step back and let moments happen naturally.
My goal is for you to feel comfortable, present, and fully able to enjoy your day while I document it honestly.
III. The moments live on long after the wedding.
Within a few days, you'll receive sneak peeks to relive everything while it's still sinking in.
Your full gallery is carefully edited with true-to-color tones and filled with emotions, people, and moments that made your day yours. The big moments matter, but so do the small ones in between.
Years from now, I want your photos to bring you right back to how it all felt.
